Top rookie drivers in four IMCA divisions are the beneficiaries of post-season awards from Circle Racing Wheels again in 2013.

National rookies of the year in the IMCA Modified, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod and Smiley’s Racing Chassis Southern SportMod divisions all receive a set of four wheels from the Fresno, Calif., manufacturer.

Highest finishing rookies in state point standings – excluding the national rookies of the year – each get $100 product certificates from Circle.

Awards will be presented during the national banquet in November or mailed the following week from the IMCA home office. Drivers must fill out and send a rookie of the year application form to IMCA by Aug. 1 to be eligible.

This is Circle’s eighth year as a partner with IMCA. Information about Circle Racing Wheels is available at the website or by calling 559 251-1127.

“The key to drivers being eligible for any of the Circle awards is to make sure if they are a rookie driver to get officially registered with IMCA by returning the application,” said Kevin Yoder, IMCA marketing director. “Whether you’ve never raced a lap in your new division or if you have plenty of experience but your track is newly-sanctioned, let us know so we can chart your success.”
