IMCA drivers in four divisions bid for contingency awards given again this season by Genesis Racing Shocks.
The top eligible drivers in each IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified region and in national IMCA Late Model, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMod standings each receive $350 product certificates.
Each runner-up receives $250 certificates and third place drivers get $150.
To be eligible, all drivers must compete with four Genesis-manufactured shocks, display two Genesis decals on their race car and return a sign-up form to the IMCA home office by Aug. 1.
Genesis gives a total of $6,000 in product certificates in its fifth year as a partner with IMCA. Certificates will be presented during the national awards banquet in November or mailed beginning the following week from the IMCA home office.
Information about Genesis shocks is available by calling 678 659-9454 and at the www.genesisshocks.com website.
“The Genesis brand is becoming more popular for IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified drivers in certain parts of the country and I anticipate that trend will continue again this year,” said Kevin Yoder, marketing director for the sanctioning body. “Drivers using them have experienced great success and it doesn’t take long for others to take notice.”
