Larry Shaw Racing returns as title sponsor of IMCA’s Western Region for Modifieds.

The Batesville, Ark., chassis builder provides a portion of the $6,000 point fund to be paid out to top 10 drivers in the region again this season.

The Western Region now includes tracks in Arizona, California, western Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, northern New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.

Drivers are required to display two Larry Shaw Racing decals on their race car to be eligible for point fund shares. Champions earn $2,500, with $1,250 for second, $625 for third, $325 for fourth, $300 for fifth and $200 for sixth through 10th.

“The partnership between Larry Shaw Racing and our Western Region is natural on a variety of levels. It shows how strong their presence is out West as they repeated as our chassis Manufacturer of the Year in that region as well,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “We appreciate the renewal of this relationship and look forward to another outstanding year in 2013.”

Previously a special series sponsor, Shaw is in its sixth season as an IMCA partner. More information is available by calling 870 251-2966 and at the www.larryshaw.com website.

Shaw also retails high performance parts and repairs all makes of chassis.
