The 2013 season will be the third consecutive year for Mach-1 Racing as title sponsor of the IMCA Sport Compact division.

The Abbott, Texas, company will again provide a portion of the $1,000 point fund paid to top 10 drivers in final national standings for the 4-cylinder class. All drivers in the division are required to display two Mach-1 decals on their race car to be eligible.

Now in its fifth season as an IMCA partner, Mach-1 originally offered support and consulting services to race teams and tracks before expanding to offer marketing, sponsorship and computerization assistance, as well as photographic and vinyl graphic services.

Mach-1 Racing diversified even more to build Sport Compacts; it continues to be a sister company to Mach-1 Systems & Solutions, Inc., the computer and website consulting firm also owned and founded by Gary Mach.

“The Mach-1 name has become synonymous with our Sport Compact division since its inception and that won’t change in 2013,” commented IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “Their contribution to the national point fund in this division has elevated the class to a very respectable level in the racing community.”
