Default Lakeside Speedway-7-30-10-Jewett Heat Race-Highlights-Video

With storm clouds just off to the West and North of the track the races were started a few minutes early. Things rolled along pretty good until the 10th lap of the Factory Stock A-Main. Just a few little sprinkles then a good shower broke loose and they call the race a complete race, we were on hold. Someone higher up and I guess with a cell phone with the weather on it said their were storms to the West and they were headed our way, night over.

What was shaping up to be a really good Factory Stock race was stopped, we had already had 5 or 6 lead changes, Caleb McClellan started 8th and was leading after having a good race with Justin Seifert for the lead. For several laps they traded the lead on each lap. Caleb had just established himself as the guy to beat when a yellow came out and soon their sfter the rain started. This was Caleb's first win for the year, he has been right in the middle of things for several weeks finishing in the top 10 quit a bit.

Marshall Jewett also takes the Cheese Works for a ride in his heat race, Marshall also having a good year came into the night 2nd in points. Starting inside 2nd row Marshall gives up some ground as his car was missing out and losing power. "We were lucky to finish where we did with the car running the way it was".
Thanks to Marshall and his crew for the ride. Enjoy.
